times a year for residents and visitors of mid-Michigan. Information on living and working in
mid-Michigan is featured in each issue.
Other topics, such as health, volunteerism, and area history are also
covered. Life in the Middle is also dedicated to providing up-to-date
information on entertainment and special events in mid-Michigan.
Advertisers can reach thousands of
residents and visitors with each issue.
Approximately 4,000 copies of Life
in the Middle are distributed via subscription and newsstand.

Specifications
Electronic Files Preferred
- must be accompanied by instructions and a proof.
Conventional offset materials
- Right reading, emulsion down film negatives.
Screen Requirements
- 150 line screen. Compensate for dot
gain.
Copy should be camera-ready. Photographs and art work with comprehensive
layout instructions and keylines are acceptable but
production work may be subject to applicable charges.
Four color advertisers
- must supply color keys, cromalins or matchprints. Offset
progressive proofs, clearly marked, can be used.
Terms & Conditions
Frequency
discounts earned by using three or more
insertions. Contracts must be completed
within one year of first insertion.
Payment
terms for credit-approved clients are net 15
days from date of invoice. Cash discount
of 5% for annual contracts paid in advance.
Service
charges billed on receivables over 30 days at
the rate of 1 1/2% per month (18% per annum).
Billing date is 1st of month of issue cover date.
Production
charges, when applicable, will be itemized and
billed on advertising invoice. Furnished
ads not meeting current production requirements will be subject to additional
stripping and/or alteration charges.
Unless otherwise specified in writing, all advertisements designed and
produced by/for Life in the Middle
are exclusively for use in its publications and production charges, if any,
cover only that use. Any other uses, in
whole or part, will result in applicable use fees and/or production charges.

design services are available. Call for price quote.
Advertisers
are held responsible for all advertising charges in the
event advertiser’s agency defaults on payments due and will be re-billed
directly.
Acceptance
of all advertisers and copy is subject to approval by publisher. No space may be purchased for resale. Publisher is not liable for damages if, for
any reason, he fails to publish any advertisement. All advertisements are accepted and published
by publisher upon representation that client/agency is authorized to publish
entire contents and subject matter thereof.
Advertising which simulates editorial content must include
“advertisement” above or below. Borders
required around all advertisements, except bleed. Publisher not responsible for materials left
unclaimed for more than one year from date of insertion. If copy is not furnished by the closing date
as contracted for, publisher reserves right to repeat last regular ad order
and/or charge client/agency for minimum space required under contract.
Short
rate billed to advertisers who do not
complete contract schedules. Credits
earned during contract year applied to future billing for space. No cash rebates.
Cancellations not accepted within 30 days of the publication date for each issue. Schedule changes during same period subject to publisher approval and rate adjustment, if applicable.
